Big Baby? ... not for her

OK... is it fair that Pandas give birth to a creature that is SO TINY?

Newborn bears and newborn giant pandas are very tiny compared to their parents. A newborn panda cub usually weighs about as much as a 3 Musketeer bar (3-5 ounces) and a full-grown giant panda mother weighs about 200 lbs.

Baby 3ounces for a 200 pound mom.....NOT FAIR

Ok, this part doesn't sound fun...

Between feedings, a panda mother will rarely put her baby down. When sitting, the mother holds the tiny creature in her paw. When she is on the move, she carries the baby gently in her mouth. Panda cubs can walk on their own when they are about three months old.
